Talking Poles in Vancouver (slow walker)
Talking Poles: Love and Peace. A collaboration between Lorna Boschman, Victoria Moulder, T’uy’t’tanat Cease Wyss and local community members who shared their voices and drumming in 2009. This walk features a selection of clips from our original Surrey BC site along Vancouver's Woodland Drive bike path.
The collaged images on the Poles were created by Akash Murgai. The audio clips were created in collaboration with community members, with sound design by Take 5.
The Sonic Map is another way to share our collaboration with future generations. This version created with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts. The original version created as a public art project for the City of Surrey B.C.
