Nockburra Creek Paddle Trail

Welcome to the Nockburra Creek and Loch Luna Game Reserve. This self-guided audio trail provides a unique paddling experience through floodplains and wetlands in South Australia’s Riverland. Sandwiched between Loch Luna and Watchels Lagoon, the labyrinth-like trail boasts numerous narrow creeks and shallow swamps that provide important habitats for many aquatic birds and mammals including herons and the rare White Bellied Sea Eagle. The area reveals evidence of millennia of Indigenous occupation alongside the changes brought from colonisation.
