Inkeer (potential current #1)
A geolocative soundwalk along the historic leisloot of Jamestown, following the furrow upstream from its outlet to its source at the Blouklip River.
The voices you will hear were recorded in situ with Jamestown elders as they walked this same ground. They are layered with the more-than-human soundscape of the furrow: water, wind, birds, footfall.
This walk is the practical outcome of a practice-led doctoral study. It is not a guided tour and not an illustration of a theory. It is an experiment in attention — an invitation to walk, listen, and notice what is already here. Featuring excerpts from interviews with Fred Davidse, Howard Gordon, Naomi Linders, Lesley February, Jeremy van der Rheede, David Lindoor, and James Meyer. Recorded January - April 2026.
