Piazza Galimberti

Piazza Galimberti was built around 1800, after the demolition of the walls by the Napoleonic troops. It must have been half its current size but, due to the importance of the sale of silk in the citadel, its size was doubled, also in order to breathe the city, which over time had increased its population.
